By using RuneChecker ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

RuneChecker is a free tool for Old School RuneScape players that provides:

• OSRS name availability checking — cross-referenced against OSRS Hiscores, Wise Old Man, and TempleOSRS
• RuneScape name availability checking for RS3 character names
• Name generation across multiple styles — nostalgic, PvM, ironman, skiller, rare, and more

All availability data is sourced from publicly accessible APIs. A name not found on any tracker may still be held by an inactive or low-level account. Results are estimates only.

RuneChecker does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, log in to RuneScape, or share any personal information. Name checks query only public data using the name you provide.

You may use RuneChecker only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack our servers or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to check names in bulk at rates beyond normal personal usage
• Attempt to bypass rate limiting or security measures
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Name availability results are estimates based on publicly available data and may not reflect the true availability of a name with Jagex. A name shown as "available" may still be registered or reserved. Always verify through official Jagex channels before attempting a name change.

RuneChecker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of name availability results, continuous access to the Service, or that errors will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RuneChecker and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including actions taken based on name availability results shown.

RuneChecker is an independent community project and is not affiliated with Jagex Ltd. All RuneScape-related content and trademarks remain the property of Jagex Ltd.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service for users who violate these terms. We may also discontinue the Service at any time without liability.

We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
